Grift couldn't have said it better myself. I was going to pick Sin City-to hell and back, but was dollar short If its anything close to Miller's 300 i'll be happy. I forgot to mention Princess Mononoke, a very classy and subtle film. laters. |

I'd also like to thank Japan for mecha : why? I only have to give one reason, though there are many : the classic Transformers. 'nuff said.

Anime rulz =) I've watched it for years.
Ninja scroll is amazing.
Ghost in the shell is the bomb =)
By the way to the earlier post about every
frame being almost as good as Dhabih's work..
Masamune Shirow *creator/artist of G IN S*
is a digital illustrator himself, you should
really take a look at some of his work!
Although, you'd have to peruse it in a local
comic shop in da book...cause it's extremely
hard to find his work on the net.
(ALSO STATING: don't reply "ill beat the *fight club* out of you Anthony!)
I don't mean anything by this message...
I'm just politely contributing to the message
board, and happened to catch a PIECE of what
you said =) COOL!
Dragon Knight is also a very kick ass anime
movie to watch.
Ranma 1/2 is the best =)

I agree Devil Hunter Yohko is great. I also liked the Fatal Fury movie. I think Japan has done a poor job on video game anime, in general (final fantasy and Fatal Fury being the exception. I mean look at the piece of smelly monkey crap that is the Samurai Shodown anime. Let's all hope the Sin anime is good.
Speaking of the Sin anime, I will try and get AD Vision and Ritual to allow me a sneak preview and some original art to post to my news page if I can get the redesign done fast enough.....

Has anyone seen The Record of Lotus Wars?
I saw the first 3 parts, and woundered if it was worth the trouble to get the last three.
i kinda liked the first ones, the characters were really likeable, though the art wasn't groundbreaking, like Ghost in the Shell. Can anyone recomend any good ones.
I recomend the following:
AKIRA, (of course), Peacock King, Fist of the Northstar, Guyver, Ghost in the Shell (one of my personal fav's), Macross Plus, Wings of Honnamaise(spelling?, kinda slow, but amazing artwork), Voltage Fighter, Devil Man(sadistic, but good),Guy(very excplicit),
Wicked City(another of my fav's), Patlabor, and K.I.M.E.R.A. If anyone wants to disagree with any of my picks, i will take it all lightly. If you agree and want to talk about any of them, feel free.
Thank you for reading, and hope i helped a fellow fan find his next AKIRA.
Peace.

Yes, I would like to disagree. :P
Fist of the North Star was really, really awful. I couldn't even watch all of it. The only good part was where that guy turned gold and got all huge, and he was biting people in half and smearing them on his chest and stuff. Because you just don't see that every day.
But many of your other selections are good, so you're forgiven.
You ever see My Neighbor Totoro? It's a children's story, but the animation is absolutely incredible, and the children are so realistic. It's also very cute, if you can stomach that sort of stuff.
