In Photoshop (5.0), I want to make the text flaming.
I can rotate the text, but I can't seem to make it wind (using wind filter) out, it inverts and goes into the text. That's sorta confusing, but I can never wind the text so that part of the text is winded (it just never shows up)
Sorry for confusing you guys, but if anyone understands what I am saying, please tell me!

Hmm, I kind of see what you are saying. You have to make multiple layers of the same thing and use the wind filter on some, then paste the non-filtered layer on top of that. At least that is how Sujoy Roy made his famous flaming Quake symbol.

Okay galaxy, I just did it =P
lol
Make some text, then with that text layer selected, go up to "layer" menu and select, render layer. Then, rotate the text 90 by using edit, transform, rotate 90cw then apply your wind. You can then mess with it.. ie: apply ripple for like... wavy fire.) then rotate the text 90CWW again, and that should do it.
Make sure preserver transperency is off. |
