Didn't know where to post it, so it ended here. I had a photo left on my camera and made a photo of my working space. I shortly thought about cleaning up first, but this is the normal state it is in !

Maybe you can take a snapshot of yours via digicam...

My Room.Avi

The video was recorder on May 31st...so the things that are different:

1. It's cleaner.
2. There is a large box in the corner.
3. There is a mini-fridge capable of holding 9 sodas, a sandwich, and 3 packs of starbursts on the second desk.
4. There is a Korg Triton LE sitting to the right of the computer.
5. Those oreos got eaten...
6. The shelf now has THESE on it.

My tablet is propped up on the floor behind the chair-theiving cat. I have no room on the desk for it.

I thought there would be less clutter with so much desk space. But clutter follows some thermodynamic laws or something where objects of higher density flow towards areas of lower density. So I guess I'll never have a clean space on the desk for very long.

fafnir: well, they still make several versions of absinthe in the UK. A new version of absinthe called absent is back in the US again, perfectly legal...still has wormwood in it, but a different kind.

Uhhh...that bottle there though isn't any of those, it's classic absithe.

the funny thing is, I don't drink alcohol. *shrug*

posted this before - this is my ex-studio, since I'm not living anywhere permanently right now. And yes, the mess is quite typical.

You don't want to know what my working "space" (read:mess) looks like...bits of wire, unfinished wire trees, a dead hard drive dad ripped open, that sort of thing...you can't actually see the surface of my desk.

Hamster - Kahlua good...with milk...floated on it...

And wait, is that a Moog synth you have with knobs or some kind like that?

Shizo: haha - what did you think I paint with? Oh, I heard Spooge has a golden (!) Wacom Tablet - that's why his images are so awesome!!!

I've got a Moog Rogue, with knobs, yes, but it's covered on the table in front, so you can't see it. It's a cute little synth - I made this song entirely with it - even the drums. Just recorded track after track with it.
http://www.guerillapixel.com/files/MP3/bubblering.mp3

I also got a Roland System 100 (2 modules), a Korg modular (forgot the model name ), a Korg Monopoly and a Ensoniq ESQ-1, which was one of the first digital waveform synths (it's using 8-bit waveforms) ...

And a whole slew of non analogue gear ...

a GOLDEN tablet?!! Damn, now i have to get that to improve my skillz

Anyways that song sounds really interesting. I like how all space is filled starting with the first sound (it kinda waves through ..nice)
So what do you use on your ocmputer as a sequencer? I'd like to learn Cubase SX someday.

Shizo:

He he, sure I have a computer, but it stands on another table, the desk you can see is plainly for graphical (non CG) and other work. I will add a photo of my computerstuff when I have time for it...

Feels good to see, that your workspace is such a mess too (well, a few of you) makes me feel better !

I'm currently trying to convince my dad that he wants to let me use his camera...pic coming very soon.

I can honestly say that as far as I can tell, my desk is the worst yet. *looks through again* Either that, or a close second.
