Hey Guys!

OMG i'm amazed this works, still remember my password Very Happy

I was thinking about the good ol days when I was here all the time learning from great artists, I do miss that time and throughout the years I've been focusing a lot of trying to figure out techniques and ways to work that might have caused me to forget my own "self" a little bit when it comes to painting. So I'm going back to the place where I clearly remember my art really being me, this place!

Anyway, I'm going to start posting some stuff here and I'll just test to see if this dropbox link works, that would be easy!

omg those

Thanks for the welcome back guys! Smile)

Here's a few sketches I made of spaceships, not very "me", learned a lot of this way of drawing from Sparth, and Robogabo, but it helps me to learn about space ship design and distribution of details in the right places. ( i generally used to put details pretty much everywhere which will clutter the design...

What is this "me" I keep hearing about? There is no "me" in this relationship! Haha.
I reeeeally like these spaceships. They are so clear-cut and technically smooth.. they are delicious.

Max Kulich, you may think that you have won this battle of wit, but you haven't won the war!!
Besides, you've only recently registered at sijun forums. N00b. :p

Yeah, my password still works, too!

Great Mech, great drawings! Your work still is a highlight!

About 10 years (or more) in life is a big gap.
In my case, from beginning student to family and work, away from speed-doodles to stiff-Layout/Animatic drawings for clients (a lot of based on fotorefs to keep the overall pace).
At home i doodle on my daughters drawing-pad-for-kids - no saving-option is bless (except taking a shot from mobilphone).

Internet has evolved, too. A lot of learning has switched from forums to learning-videos. The showroom is now the social network (i guess with less improvement, but with more cheer).

Do i have the time for speedpainting ... dunno ... maybe ...

hehe, so I was wondering where all the cool people would hang out nowadays and so I wanted to check if Sijun still exists. And indeed my 4 letter password still works! Great to see some of the old names from 15 years ago in this thread. Although, it seems I am 1 year too late now Very Happy

We just lost 7 months of posts from a HD crash. Sad

Not a huge number of posts compared to the old days, mind you, but it still hurts. I think that's our first big loss of posts since Sijun started.

Good you see you back, if only to poke your head in. Smile What are you up to? Any recent art to post?

that's good to know! I was thinking the forum went completely silent last summer looking at the last post dates.

I will open a new thread and post some of my stuff and say 'hello'. I recently got an iPad Pro and Pencil and it's really the best digital drawing device I ever tried.
