Yikes, it has been way too long since the last update.
Here's something to prove that I'm still working on the story.

*fan club moment* Yay!
Glad to see it's still moving. Getting close to a full chapter post? |

lol, thanks Durgle!!
This is actually the second chapter already that I'm working on quite feverishly. I took a
break during the summer to air out my brain a little bit from Genesis, but now it's back
on the table.
I think I got most of the cobwebs out now. |

Now that you mention it, I think that's partly what the "Sandbox" (post-Patel
Grand) story is about (er, and hoplites too, hehe). Me, I can't afford to stop but
really needed some distance from all that 'overhead'.
Cool.
So *two* new chapters are pending? Awesome. |

Hehehehe, I know what you mean Durgledeep.
But to be honest, taking a break from things a person does daily can do wonders for creatitivity.
Especially for me, when art & storytelling is in question.
Anyway, taking that break enabled me to focus on Where Shadows Fall, so that was a very
nice distraction over the summer months for me.
You've been making crazy progress again with your projects, I can't wait for the storytelling to start. *hint hint *
Have a good weekend! |

I can finally reveal a bit more on the current state of the story.
Genesis is making a leap from the screen to a printed form. Genesis got picked up by a local indie
publisher Musta Ritari Kustannus last year *YAY* and will appear on the pages of their
anthology adventure comic called Sil (Sabre).
I wanted to wait with the news until the whole story was done and the first chapter
was sent to the printhouse... Longest months of my life ever...
The new content aims to tell a story that stands on it own but also builds on the 3 previous
online chapters. The focus for us with this new storyline was seeing how we manage to
portray action & dialogue with sequential storytelling. *babysteps*
The first of the two new chapters should be available during the coming weeks of January.
Here's a link to the publisher if any of the Finns hanging around here are interested in ordering issue #6 of Sil where the story starts from.
http://mustaritari.fi/kustannus/saila/
The english version of the story will appear online eventually, so stay tuned.
Thanks for taking a look!
p.s. Here's a preview from the first chapter.

Yes!
Nice ethics test (last panel; who lives the consequences?).
Really like the red panel (bottom right); am thinking that could be used a bit more
(or a lot more?) to speed the graphics along...
Kudos. |

durgldeep, I think you just made the writer happy with your comment about the ethics. Can't wait to hear what you think about the next 14 pages. We'll be sharing them in a month or two.
Thank you!! |

Passing through...
Genesis: scrolling through the last part of part three - from the Dawkins to "It is home." -
still gets me...
I was here. |

Hehe. Five years later, I think I'm getting close (small forays)...
Important to recognize the digital 'overhead', I think, ie. there are lots of empty promises
in this or that program/software (have taken more than a few dead ends)...
Yet again, John Seymour (always John Seymour): "How much is enough?" |
