Regarding Chasey Lain... Wasn't there some bloodhound gang song dedicated to her? Going like... "Dear Chasey Lain, I write to complain... you had a lotta dick (refrain)... but you ain't had mine!"
Or something like that. |

Tina is fine, and not one I've come across in any female Chinese friends who've adopted an English name. I've come across Jennifer, Lisa, Meghan, and Beth the most I think.
Katrien, Tammy, Kristin... not terrible or awkward, but not too exotic either. I'm guessing the only thing that the name change will affect is the number of people who are used to calling her Tina who'll have to adjust... |

It's kind of weird to try and rename someone. And I think most english names sound hollow to a degree, you've got to live in em to make something out of them. I think of girl's name I like but my like for the names themselves is pretty much based on whether i like the person or not. Here's a couple, leah, becky, carrie...
but I like the hopi name Kaya. That sounds like something to be. |

Hehe.. Yeah that bloodhound gang song is hilarious.
I can't say that I knew all of those porn chicks either. But this thread was just screaming for a list of plasticboobers.

*Chuckles at Flat's list of exotic names*
Hello, this is my wife - Shiva, and me? I'm Kali. Together we are Shiva and Kali - - last of the avatars and according to certain hindu beliefs, the bringers of the apocalypse!
Now wouldn't that suit the loving nature you two share? |

Kali is quite the cruel one. I would't want to give that name to sweet Tina.
I'd still go for Jenna. hehehe |

"The sleeper walks." "I'm awake, I'm awake."
What's up Rob, long time no see... errr talk. Been realy busy moving down here, but I finally was able to set up internet. How's it going? And I am not asking just to be polite.
As far as english names go, most, including my own are boring. At least in my opinion. But I can say that names such as:
Iris
Jewel
Angelica
Angel
Krystal
Sound too sugery to me. The remind me of video game characters, and in my opinion, don't hold up well. At least not in my mind.
Here are some suggestions, all of have different roots and mean different things, but the person should define the name, not the other way around.
And away we go:
(* = Best suited, in my opinion)
*Kaylyn (like Katelin)
Kelyn
*Kay
Kerrah (care - ah)
Katelyn
Lauren
*Claire
*Milla (Me La)
Lea
*Rea (Ray)
I'd say the best way to pick one out would be to sit down together and go through them, but don't forget the last name, the way it flows is important!
While, I like the name Tina, and I feel it works from the pictures I have seen (although tina does remind me a bit of Grease, The Pink Ladies), Tina Tu, just sounds awkward. |

Confusious says: Sometimes asking for a drizzle and getting a rain storm isn't good.
Err Zak, she would be vulnerable to that joke even if she changed her first name..
Tina two? Wheres Tina one?
Dr.Bang two? Wheres Dr.Bang one?
in conclusion, don't spend a day inhaling freon. |
