selfportrait

Anyone using painter? It's my program of choice, but it seems like since 12 the files become too heavy after 5 minutes... after that I have to switch to ps because it simply takes too long to make a stroke. Is it me, or is this reality? Surprised

sorry Suma, I'm not aware of this expression?

There was a thread on ca.org about "man vs nature" and I felt brutalist architecture, especially this building, personifies it kind of well. I spent a night there on a school excursion about a year ago. It's a very ugly building, yet very sincere and brutalist architecture ideologies were kind of personified in it. It's got lots of wonderful spaces... and as you can see it takes the context on in very man vs nature way.... Looks like a shelter... no? Very Happy

Had a nice cozy "cell" to sleep in
Smile

Sorry, there was a typo in my post. I just wondered was it something you painted based on a photo by corbusier, or if it was a painting by corbusier, if it's 2d or 3d, if it's mostly photo or art? I like it, but I'm a bit confused by it. Smile

ahh... it's just a photo. Nide asked about it. The name La tourette kind of lead people to think about something else... I can't paint like that haha Very Happy

here's a post about it on archdaily, if you are interested....
