Something been working on and off for a while. Second is a sketch from a Production design art test thing ran by the BBC.
Edit: Made a couple of changes to define features in the face, just like to point out, Lemur, Boliris, Exphrasis, Meteja, awesome works!,
Tomasis I like the hooded guys, nice close value ranges on that one, more pls :p Kalakal, keep em coming looking good

Howie- that abstract landscape on the last page is kickass! talk about field of depth
whom- amazing, haha, sometimes it takes a month! i like the way you detailed it, looks like you are pushing into a new style.

Petri- dunno how that can be improved, its very striking. haha i'd probly add an apple hanging from the tree to the robots grasp, leave it to me for a cheezy narrative idea.

Foreshortening wings is always a lot of work, still needs a lot of work.
My version of the crow, not sure why I put him in some kind of weird medieval scene.... hmm perhaps an entrance to an old cemetery or something.....

I have a few ideas for some larger stories I'm trying to flush out, this is the first image in a new series of images, more detailed info once the storyline is more complete. In the meantime, here's a teaser.

Hello all nice people of the board, i will do speedpainting this summer to correct and fix my mistakes, here is the first batch of them, terrible but have to start from somewhere. All images are inspired by some artist/image, i will do something more original when i feel i will get more fluent in this painting business
-For next ones i will try to do better colours (not just orange/blue) and try to do more clear compositions (foreground/middleground/backround), onward captain! |

creepy castle, painted over an oldy. Learning to think of light outside of scene alot more...or maybe better put -to think of how whats in the scene tells about the environment outside the scene. i realize alot of my problems have come from not considering this!
