Vahn-nice!
Matthew- here's my overpaint, sortof forgot what i was talking about, you are really easy to overpaint! just sortof went over some shapes, closed one door and put the guy behind his door to prop on (hope he reads!) maybe the pothole was a mistake since its same color as the shadow (should've put it half in the car's shadow)...hrmmmm oh yeah dodged the lampspill (which is out of perspective ack), its easy to cheeze someone else's sketch muhaha!

Lemur> Love how you handle the textures. T^T The transparency of the rear window. Teh sewer cover.
Matthew> Thought i give it a try too. Still have much to learn. T^T Love your color palette and tonal control as always.
This is a good exercise. We should do this more often. Haa.

wow you guys are awesome, thank you both for the overpaint.
Interesting to see different interpretations of the same picture.
I think have been going more for a non realistic look these days in my work it seems, hmm still trying to dig deeper into a personal look.
A paint to post quick scribble

Hmm sorry whom I went a bit weird on your painting :/ I hope you don't mind. You sure have a good feel for composition and angles, I noticed your car had cool triangular shapes on it that are unusual and went with that shape. Something to be mindful of is the wheel base being wide enough and convergence in the right direction, i think its still a bit narrow at the front actually.

T_England, of course I don't mind, what an awesome overpaint. You're right about the narrow front, hmm perhaps I should have bent it more in mine aswell.... I appreciate the comment, very kind.
Another paint to post pic, lol damn I am flooding....
Developed the other one from the last page.....

cool overpaints!
england, I dig this Very! high tech!
raytoh, that one sketch of robot is something I have waited for long long time from you. Spontaneous but controled. When I saw this, my jaw dropped. I mean that's about Style, nothing to do with "finish". "spoogeish" regarding creativity and execution together
Lemur, cool that one. I want to see something "very high detalied". I guess that it forces you to use simple brush. Im waiting, no hurry, even it takes five years I guess the patience while maintaining motivation is the key.
whom, keep floding. this thread here is relatively slow to update
now for my weird piece

Whom - manI dig all the stuff you've been doing. So much space indicated with perspective and mood.

Lemur, I vote for the first one, though I would prefer to show more of the humans in the shot. Then again placement depends on the characters contra the light from behind, in your case the action gets back into the piece.
Quick composition test.
