Howie! I love you style!!! I also love the texture your paintings have. Are you doing this digitally? _________________ Dennis S. Sedov - Art Blog

doghouse, just keep at it patiently!
@exphrasis: You have ridiculous skills with using atmospheric perspectives. To my eyes the sense of depth, scale and just... everything in your paintings are always spot on. |

@dennis.sedov: thanks ! glad you noticed it was camera movement some people ask me what it is =/
And glad to see I inspired you !
@nide : thank you
@Tomasis : Haha yeah many people advised I'd do a more close-up composition, but I wanted to show a bit more of the environment.
@Samhell : thanks Glad to see I'm improving, I had a lot of issues with scale a couple of months ago. Now I need to practice my characters =/
Anyways, here's something a bit old that I never uploaded :

great work everybody, its been great diving back into photoshop as a painting medium after concentrating on traditional media for the last few years. Seeing everyone's work gets me to see other possibilities for the digital mediums that are very difficult to explore any other way. |

dancinfool, you rock!
rinthe, nice that one!
whoom, hehe that one is interesting!
lakka, awesome! is it oil on the surface eh?
lemur, poaw!
exprhasis, yeah but.. it depends what you want to tell for story. When I looked at the image, nice feelings poped up because the landscape and light are so beautiful then I noticed burning plane? I just ignore that. It is like that it didnt matter for me because the landscape overtook feeling for me. For me it is a bit "cynical" when I ignore burning plane. I dont think about dead people or the pilot survived. When I painted my own piece (that I didnt done before), slowly I got filled with fear, sadness, respect for dead people, lots of thoughts popped up how many people have died in flight accidents. Strong feelings overtook me when I did finish that piece. What experience!! wow. I dont forget that.
"lemur" style" ie starting with textures and mess up. it is pretty fun and very easy to start on any random idea on blank canvas. I mean random textures help me pick a idea based on stroke, hehe

Experiment with texture and trying to just doodle meaningless shapes and then later find a meaning in them=)
