same picture, started with the figure, then a bigger figure swallowed it, then the face swallowed it- a good exercise! the original guys head is where the nose is on the face

Lemur - It's fun how a painting morphs and changes sometimes from one's original intent.

ZUPZUP-yeah! usually i notice, but have never saved multiples and tried doing each one. You sure get sick of the colors after awhile Laughing

Has anybody here read the book "Framed Ink"? a friend lent it to me and its really got me into emotional themes, storytelling, cinematography, stuff like that. Been missing out on alot by not learning this stuff...well heres me trying to be emotional anyways ha

Lemur> Lemur! Great to see you posting again. Haa. Seem like a long pause. And yeah, I have read "Framed Ink" and I like it. It's presented in a simple and clear way. Easy to digest. Really like the drawing in there too. Haa. By the way, I'm reading this book " Cad monkys, Dinosaur Babies and T-shaped people" at the moment. I'm only 1/4 through the book but i thought it's a interesting book to share. It talks mainly about creative thinking. Jumping the fence or in other word, trying to break the mold. Give it a read. Smile I find it enaging in some way.
All>Anyway great to see everyone kicking and doing inspiring stuff in the new year. And wow. we are at page 1300. Haa. More pages to come! Keep rocking everyone. Smile

One for today. Smile

Got myself a Asus tablet. Eee slate B121. Hoping to do more life painting with it if time permits. Here my first attempt. Still trying to figure out what is the best way to use it. Still life of my Halo toy again. Razz

@exphrasis: LOL, that is the most disturbing thing I've seen in a while. I love the double-stitched-together head. Laughing

@Munin: Those are really, REALLY nice. Very organic quality to them and I love the colours!
