You know, somehow I feel you would get more depth if you had a dark shape where the chrystal palace is placed. Perhaps a tower or something? then again; then you would lose the concept of chrystal...
If one merely thinks of balance in a piece though the optimal would be to place something dark to the right aswell, balance out that dark rock that you now have to the left.
I love this one, wow you are good. :
