Some study from picture for me. Inspired by skyrim. Great game, loving the art direction in it.

Lakka-haha thanks, i'll take the chillpill, sometimes i need a "fire up" pill too lol. Actually both the wheels were pathed, i'm just really shitty with paths! I'm Liking your graphic experimentality broooooo!

Tomasis- thankyou doode, tilt your car/canvas 45 degrees for the secret of drift. I realize i didn't have the front tires steering as you did-so perhaps the silver car isn't drifting at all, just sliding off the deck of a container ship...

exphrasis- love it! been playing skyrim too much lately, you nailed it! The size of the mountains in that game takes my breath away.

just some distant architechture-the exact type of painting i'm not yet used to, so composing is wonkier...ah well lets just use some bright colors

Thanks guys !

Bierberg, you just did one of my favourite images on sijun for a while.
I love it, it's exactly the spirit of sijun/speed painting imo. Very rough, but it has it all. Great composition, storytelling and colors, as well as lighting. Keep it up !

Vahn, yep I did actually, but only once on the rocks on the left. I created it for the occasion from the base ref, was a bit ' cheated ' on the moment but hey, now I have a sweet new custom shape !

I really like how you use those yourself by the way. Gives a nice 'sharp' look to those images.

I can't wait to use those more, but I have many exercices and studies to do before I can spend some more time on personnal paintings....

Here's something a bit rougher than what I usually do.

Bierberg: Very awesome speedie! wow! Glad it reminds you of red dead. Those are sketches for my latest prototype of a Western boardgame i am developing at the moment Smile

exphrasis: im overdoing it a bit much with the custom shapes, but i like how you can use them as masks and create crisp textures in seconds.

heres another one. Very flat and overconstructed. Also the texturing is too horizontal, but it fits to the other two :
