beautiful works, both guys!
must it be only 1 tree? hehe I did like 100 trees in single image hehe
quintus, I like idea about scribble thread.. because it is not fun if one has to hide because he feels he spams too much. I want do some scribbles to generate ideas without worrying about quality.. speedpainting thread kinda got "high" status..
I want get relaxed and scribble for 30min. I even created scribble folder for images as trees below.
Im planning to create "Analog" thread to encourage for more traditional work
now comes 100 trees images lol

Funnily enough, a lone tree being the focal point in an enviourment that doesn't suit its needs is probably one of my favourite themes, got like 3 sketchbooks full of images like that... especially dead trees in lush enviourments.... I feel like I'm gonna spam this thread to death once I get home next week...
Great to see everyones view on "the tree"
Here's a few older ones..

Hmm by closer inspection perhaps 20 birds, round it up to a billion. what?

*sighs* Quintus, clearly I can not compete with your birds. So I'll try trees instead.

quintus, aahh beautiful. almost poetic
it looks like oil painting made with knife, if you had one in analog, it'd be awesome with such textures _________________ out |

Tomasis, It was quite interesting actually, I removed paint in a seperate layer on that one. I am still looking for that glazing tecnique digitally, lots to be done with that .. I think.
Thank you. I like the stuff you're working on btw, those knights and the oil paintings.
Nide, wow beautiful
Sup_Ben, I really like your brush strokes. Good balance in the latest one. |
