Uhm, well, being the geek I am and how much I love the X-files, anybody else out there hear about Mulder's replacement in the next season of the X-files? It's gona be Robert Patrick (the T-1000 in Terminator 2). Good thing they dont plan on him actually being Mulder, he'll be playing Skully's new partner.

Anybody have any comments about this or where they think the show's headed? I'm worried it's just going to sink lower than it already has. It use to be quite good.

It's pretty hard to know what the hell is going on in the series right now unless you've watched it for some time, heh. But uh, the short of it, David Duchovney (actor for mulder) is sick of the X-Files, they wouldn't let him leave of course, so he sued Fox Entertainment, and they agree'd that he'd be done with the X-files after this last season. As for the storyline as to why he does, I'm not sure yet. Scully still has cancer as far as I know.. last few episodes have shown her with nose bleeds, and well, not feeling so good as cancer tends to do to people.

believe it or not, david duchovney has quite a few softcore porn movies in his acting portfolio. Weird. I love "Muldur" as a character and sometimes forget that the actor is completely different.

Dang... that's really going to ruin the show. When Scully was aducted Mulder got stuck with Kryceck (sp).
Why's he leaving anyways? Oh yeah I'm a lead role in one of the hotest shows on TV I'm going to leave now...
Anyways what's your fav show? Mine has to be teh on with COPS. That was funny. And the one where the guy is writeing that story and everything is Beeped out. And the one with when Scully gets Quequeg.
Has anyone read the newest X-files book? I've read Ruins, Ground Zero, Whirlwind, Antibodies, and Goblins.

The first few seasons of X-files were cool. Later on, they sucked. Now it's beyond dead. Did you see any episodes from last season? They were all incredibly weak or way too corny (or both).

Those writers think they can get by with anything. I remember this one episode where Muldur and Scully are trapped in some virtual reality game where one of the characters have come to life and she is killing people in real life. Well the whole conflict is that muldur is stuck somewhere and might be the next one killed. So as the conclusion muldur gets rescued and the show ends! WTF! How did the virtual reality character step into the real world!!!! They didn't even explain!

I have some AudioVisual Buddies who did for their final project (which was supposed to be a mock documentary.) a little road movie called. "Searching For David Duchovney"

Basically about a week before this major project was due and they realized that they had an insanely small amount of useable footage of their previous intended documentary (which was supposed to be about paramedics) due to the legal department at the hospital saying they couldn't film... basically anything important.

Then One guy had to go visit his uncle in Vancouver for the weekend (We're in Edmonton, Capitol city of Alberta, on the other side of the Rocky Mountains from Vancouver) So the guys decided to Tag along and see if they couldn't think of some cop out project to do on the way, and they halled all their equipment with them. on this Road trip. ON the way out of Edmonton they decided, Since it was Vancouver, they'd go see if they could find Cris Carter, to give him their business cards and ask for a job. So that was their premise. They were looking for The X-files.

So they stop in all the little shit towns on the way from here to Vancouver and ask the locals if they've seen David Duchoveney around (because somehow it got switched up to they were looking for David because he'd Definately have to be there if they're filming in Vancouver at the time) and of course this is in the first or second season of X-files so NOONe has any Idea who they're talking about.

One town they stop in had the bridge at the end of Rambo so of course they had to recreate the scene.

Anyway they finally make it to Vancouver and they go to one of the studios and the security guard tells them that he thinks he noticed them filming something Downtown at (X-address) So they go there, expecting it to be some dumb movie or something. Turns out it's Millenium they're shooting.

So they Meet lance Hendrickson. and Chat and have a smoke and laugh it up and note that he's wearing the same watch as one of the guys. And He tells them that they're filming an episode of X-files over at ..whatever Studio... and to tell em that "lance Sent ya" so they go there and SOMEHOW they manage to make it in and they eat lunch from the catering truck and Talk with the effects Crew about the Flukeman and Stuff.

And eventually they make it inside the set and LO and Behold it's David Duchoveney. So they swap stories about the trip and Give him their cards to give to Carter and head home and Cut the thing together.

All in Half a week and it's one of the most amazing Documentary/Road Movies I've Ever seen.

X-Files used to be a rare and delicate show, now they just conitnue parts that were never meant to be touched...
I been watching xfiles every night at 11:00 here in Canada on channel 50 (dunno if u guys get it) and i think the latest episode is when the Smoking man dies... which was shown a couple of months ago
Scully got her cancer cured a while ago, only reason she developed the cancer is because they tried to remove the chip that the so called 'aliens' implanted in her neck, but once mulder acquired it and they put it back in, she's fine... Today's episode was when Cassandra (Agent Spender's mother and Smoking Man's ex-wife) was abducted and they finished the experiments on her and she is now the first living Human/Alien Hybrid... at the end she realises that she has to die for the war to have a chance to stop and they show mulder pointing a gun to her head and it goes 'To Be Continued...' but that one is a couple of months old

To fully understand the series, you must watch the movie because alot of it is tied up with the movie...

-S (AKA. The little boy that plays chess and can read people's minds... hehe)
