some forest scene- I'm learning the importance of thinking of the different grounds in space (like fore, mid, back) and to change up lighting between them to show space and create focus. Also working methods between the different places in space, used to think strictly 2d about that, but I realize its more important in 3d!

Nide-감사합니다! heh i know that much- awesome that last one btw.

Lakka- <3 <3 haha- these acrylics are great (makes me want to do abstracts like the last in acryl)!!! I want to find a good cheap way of getting boards like that, sometimes i find shelves or tops of desks on the street and bring them home, but they are so heavy its ridiculous.

this one I was trying to get a "struzanish' procedure, sortof copying spooge too. I always kinda shirked lines cause i wanted to be a grownup paint pusher, lines are great fro this stuff though-

oh and another

Quintus : I love how you render texture, It's almost abstract but it looks controlled at the same time

From quick 3D base, ~1hours

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted here. Looks like awesome stuff is still going on in this thread. I would love feedback on my sketches if you see something that I need to improve.

mattyuk-thanks- that landscape is awesome! simplification is a noble ideal to strive for!

ZM-thats really cool, I like these sort of enviros.

Howie-that b&w is really nice.

Eeric-do you scroll out to thumbnail size or look at the navigator often? I find that helps in making good choices for the paintings...it feels like your paintings could hold together better on a bigger scale, this mainly has to do with sense of light i believe.

Trying to do interior sort of stuff, I think a big deal is to use different sorts of lighting in different grounds of the picture to show space. Need more learning (warning, sketchup abuse)-

thats really cool Quintus!

ditlev-awesome, when the little red light is glowing on your pistol it means business!

experimenting, i wheat pasted a digital speed to a board and basically threw every medium I got at it. The pastels and impasto work nicely-I also pasted tissue paper and watercolored it in certain places, it made cool textures with the thick paint. my camera sucks though-
