Hi together!
Ok, i know this thread isn't meant to talk, but i have to write a little. This is my first post 
Sijun was one of my biggest inspirations a few years ago when i had to make the decisions to leave university (i studied biology) .......to study design instead and make a living out of art. I have really forgotten about this great forum and just recently remembered it. Just wanted to say thanks for the kick in the ass....it's always sickening to look through the pages of this thread and enjoy the huge amount of astonishing stuff. Keep up the insanity

Tec-welcome! Hey man, don't hold back if you want to ramble, I always ramble about paintings all the time lol, one of the fun parts is talking about the paintings cause you get an idea how the artist thinks.
sparth- that piece looks chilly! found your CA sketchbook where you talked about shapes alot, forgot if I posted there but that stuff is great for getting bizarre textures and noisy information onto the canvas!
A master study and some winter fun, I want to paint the Mammoth one big in real paint-digi is so good for sketching but I wanna play with the real stuff! The mammoth one actually comes from a dream where I saw a motor sled turn into a dog sled turn into a sled pulled by a massive boar turn into a sled pulled by a mastodon then finally a huge mammoth, so tried to put the mammoth in a picture.

Raytoh, back at you, you have a very neat handling of brush strokes which makes your artwork very interesting.
I am trying Imageshack now, appreciate the tip though Tomasis; you know I do pay for my umbus site but thing is I want to keep traffic like this separate, eventhough my web provider didn't have a hotlink policy which I though they did....
lol ah anyway it is what it is.
Registered member at Imageshack might be the solution, we'll see.

Awesome work, everyone! Very inspiring.
Last night's speedpainting session.. Based on reference photos again, guess it's a good way to deal with an artist's block.
I finally decided to learn this technique properly, however I'll learn the values and brush technique with monochrome images first and work on the colour theory after that.
