Sparth, haha lol, I actually had a suspicion.... You do helmets very original, you had them in some of your drawings there. Neat style though,
Nide, thank you, neat; is that Swamp thing?

quintus, hehehe. thanks.
i was actually wondering if someone's was going to find out
btw, i totally dig the direction you have taken these last months.
i remember i forgot to give you a reply once. but i don't think you need advices hehe. you've been having a great path, the color tones, compo, and story telling you're having is far stronger than before.
the blues on this last one are fantastic. to sum it up, there's that glimpse of graphic excitment i was not seeing in your work before.
Lemur: thanks! experimenting is what art is all about. we have to push ourselves to find new roads. and it's tons of fun too! _________________ sparth.com - art on Flickr |

thanks nide!
carbofos- I won't be playing that old lady lol!
SANSAN-thats a nice narrative
I saw some news article yesterday where scientists showed people solve visual puzzles better when they are in a playful, funny mood. They did this in the tests by showing comedy videos to certain subjects before doing the puzzles. Apparently the brain can make more far out connections and loopy ideas in the funny state of mind, going to start getting a laugh before painting. I always noticed on the paintings I've done that I like that I was pretty happy and making jokes and stuff when I did them-thought it was just cause the process was going well but science has shown otherwise!!!

No brush used and the 3000x1200px PSD file has 1,28MB. In other words totally scalable global illumination .

Tomasis-ha, I did laugh cause camels are goofy critters by nature. I like how you handled the clowns costume btw, simple and effective!
Matthew-thats really cool, I love the sense of light on the horse and the action and everything!
exphrasis-makes me wanna play with custom shapes-I've seen this used all over before but never realized what it was till you mentioned it.
painted on these gloomy dudes for awhile, generic haloish stuff. I always thought shiny face masks were cool-
