Like those SANSAN

Quintas - The texture pieces are cool.....the first is is still my fav. You struck a nice balance there between the smooth and textured strokes.

matthew, simplification process, yeah! regarding normal brushes, it is better build solid foundation than hide behind fancy textures, undefined values, shapes (like i do as to hide my errors on shapes behind too dark values). Depends how good one is on basic skills before risking anything on painting like putting fancy textures or praying for happy accident Very Happy

lemur, aw lovely Smile keep it up with your thoughts,, interesting to read too.

the last pages are fun to watch

Nice everyone!
Here's a sketch that I'm planning to turn into a matte painting... the perspective on those poles are a bit off Smile

I got these environment themes from Eytan Zanas blog

More environments, I really need to practise more doing stuff like this

Just finished 5 weeks of paternity leave, it's hard to believe our little girl is already five weeks old! I decided that my one slice of normalcy while on leave was going to be taking an hour every day or two to speedpaint some landscape studies based off photos either I've taken or various photos I've found on the web. Here's the results...
