thanks Hide and Zup- i actually got one more knight up my sleeve heh heh
should've done some sketches to plan it out, feel like the big picture doesn't have the grab, need to study horses and stuff too

whooop, I've set my definitions now so that "detail" means smaller forms and "refinement" means developing the surface (light and material) of a form that could be big-cause earlier I was getting confused as to what things were, we have so many words that mean too many things at once

Lemur, that works really great, great combination of smaller detail and more rough surface. Love it.
