Hi!

Just wanted to check in with you guys and let you know that i re-opened my site. Please do look around. There is a mix of old and new stuff in there. Alot more to come as soon as i have an 'OK' to do so Smile

http://www.noguchi.no

Due to the complicated nature of updating my old site i lost the motivation so i figured that Squarespace was the right solution for me. It makes everything a lot easier

This time around i will update more often and i also hope to be more active here as i have tons of stuff to learn. After looking around here and Conceptart.org iv'e been totally blown away by the amount of skilled artists Smile Man!

I've come to the conclusion that i'm not really a painter, but more of a line-type of guy, but i really wanna get better at painting so which place better to learn from than this?

Nice work.

I see on the company site that they did the Unity 3.0 demo scene. That was a nice demo of the new features. I'm starting to use that for a game project.

Clips? You mean the character-designs? Well, this was a fairly quick job. It was just a matter of reading the character-descriptions provided by the client and then getting them down on paper. Did that answer your question?

Awesome. Smile
Is the line work ink or digital (you mention "paper")?
(looks like a bit of both, to me)
Still not convinced a tablet can replace pencil/ink -
maybe I just don't practice enough. Smile

Yeah. Most of them (99%) is done on paper with either ink or pencils. No, i just prefer to do it that way. Some years ago i did most of my linework with my wacom-pen, but i guess i just like the feeling and friction i get from a pencil or ink-pen Wink

Also. With a pen and sketch-book i can work wherever i would like. On the bus, in the sofa, in the loo. You name it, LOL. I guess this is the real reason Wink

YES Micke! It's always exciting to see more work from you. Your work always feels just about perfect to me - so much life and energy in your linework and color choices - loose but never incomplete. These things just ooze confidence and style. I've always been a huge fan and it's great to see you still cranking.

That's significantly better than the original.
