Cpt.Obvious, Sparth: Such gorgeous work.
Insane Lemur: With respect to Deathhelm, I do not agree with him/her. I think it has just the right amount of rendering to inform, and the lost shadowy areas are wonderful. I already have a folder of your work and this is one of my favourites so far.
Just some little DS landscapes. Mostly plein air.

Still trying to be more active here. So many good artists! Is there anyone interested in painting together via chatting on AIM or something? I'm trying to find people to share ideas with and help my creativity, because I need to do more "environments"... and not just landscapes, but I always feel like I'm doing something already done when it comes to telling stories in my art.
Cloud study from a photo by Brachna
Image from my head/pencil sketch I did inspired by a picture I saw while sketching from books I can't afford at Barnes&Nobles.

The Insane Lemur - I like your sketch from 17 March.
tenthorbital - thanks
Cpt.Obvious - thanks. Your latest painting has cool textures.
Just some loose character/costume design. Sometimes I prefer neutral pose so I can focus on design more.

Gotta love those sunsets, twice a year for about 3 weeks each, sunsets happen almost exactly when I head home for the night, so I am treated to some of the more beautiful colors nature can provide my whole drive home. Here another feeble attempt at capturing some of that magic. _________________ - Neil

Deatthelm (alias Ryan Walsh): "as much as I hate to agree with Hyde"- what's that supposed to mean actually...? I feel you try to brand artists as arrogant or conceited who have in fact worked hard in order to get where they are, without you having the dignity to admit it's the lack of discipline, ambition and working on your self to get better. It's pretty obvious gathering from your comments that you constanly try to downgrade the established artists (or those who haven't yet failed to react to your seeking for attention).
But you know what? I am not gonna make any more assumptions because if there is one thing I am sure of, then it's the fact that writing over a forum about such things will always have a significant amount of 'grey areas', prejudice and misconception involved. People always make assumptions so you can't help it. Sometimes it's just better to shut up. Giving honest praise to an obviously good artist is one thing that isn't always easy to do because they might take it the wrong way or think you're trying to kiss a$$.
(Also, it's not HYde. It's a japanese name which makes it sound more like 'Hiddae'. But why do I care if you pronounce it right? Well, good question.
Sparth: that last one is really sweet! And it's great to see you post so frequently lately!
Alyssa: welcome back, killer studies!
Cpt. Obvious: I wanted to say this earlier, but the dragon-girl piece was masterful!
sorry, I have nothing to post |

Deatthelm, lol I am not even surprised by your reaction.
Cookies and milk, huh? Ok, that's scary.
Freebooter: I think it's really not that serious...
Why the hell did I even bother...? |

Amazing art in here lately.
Hideyoshi - Thank you. That's good news. I always thought my characters are the least interesting . There's still hope
fripp - I don't know how you did it but I almost got acrophobia from looking at your pic
Sparth - Wow. You outdone yourself with the last one. Looks impressive.
