Impaler: Dude, Pixel Soldier has been widely known as an asshole flamer, probly taking first place; someone even quit the forums because of him? Anyhow, finding out he was snarf/mongoose/corn pops/other 2034923 names put the icing on the cake.

Moderators, I request that you delete this thread! !Maybe! there is a road to salvation for Chris Perry but this thread, and posts (good or bad) ain't helpin!

By who? Two or three people don't make a guy an asshole. To my knowledge, pixelsoldier was just another brick in the sijun wall until this thread.

Not only that, but several fantastic artists have been called assholes once or twice, including but not limited to Loki, Frost, and anyone that went to Lumenthal. Just because a guy is an asshole doesn't mean he can't contribute anything.

Someone quit the forums because they had no idea how to take a critique, and if you look at the thread again, you'll see everyone telling the guy exactly that.

I'm sure most people were surprised when they read this thread. Only one guy made the connection, so it's not like everyone had their growing suspicions. Besides, statements like that just prove that this is a petty conflict, where you have to SEARCH for things to complain about. Read this thread again. Most of the arguments against pixelsoldier are based on what he did in the past as Mongoose and whatever other handles he went under. Very few actually touch on whatever mistakes he's made as pixelsoldier.

I've always had good thoughts about pixel soldier, and I'm not going to let a 3 year old incident change that.

I think we are all able to keep our own opinions about people, and its not fair to make a topic to change those people views.. seeing as how suggestable people are on the internet...

I know I said I wouldn't post in this thread again, but so did a lot of other people that continue to post.

I just wanted to say thanks to the people that actually still do have faith in me (as a person, or as an artist). I'm not gonna resort to flaming/name-calling, because frankly, it would be without merit. So, I'll let my art speak for itself, and hopefully at least some people around here will hear it.

Thanks again people to the people who don't want to kill me.

I try (not very successfully though) not to form opinions about people until I've spoken to them face to face. But so far as I can tell, Pixel ain't such a bad guy.

Impaler: The thing is, and you should really know this since by the looks of your registration date it seems you've been here from the beginning, that when we caught him before, he said he'd go clean and he probably did for some months, but then he was back again. I'm sure it's not easy to understand that trusting the dude aint very easy, but hey we've tried.
And whatsup with that Snarf incident and all, first he said he hadnt done stuff for years, and by the looks of the post, the snarf thing was not a very long time ago. And there never was a explanation from Chris either.
And this was actually the reason why I replied in the first place.

I cannot just go "oh well everything is ok" after such incidents, I take art thievery as a extremely fucking serious thing. Maybe you dont. And you know, I hate liars. When I first read the thread I thought "sigh..here we go again..".

But yeah, if he has come clean for real now, that'd be great sure, but ill keep my eye open anyway.

look at his sketches in the finished works forum...they aren't copied, thye are HIS artwork, so give him a break. bury your grudge and move on please. yes he was a complete idiot for doing what he did but he doesn't do it anymore. good luck pixel on your fresh start, hope this will be your last alias :P

Not to bump this up again, but I just noticed something strange. Pixelsoldier had recently posted a great, very professional looking sketch in the finished works section under the title "That 70's Girl". Anyway, Micke posted on that thread raising some questions as to whether or not Pixelsoldier really did the sketch. He invited Pixelsoldier to do a couple more in order to prove that it was his sketch. This didn't seem like an inappropriate request to me. Anyway, now the thread is gone (deleted). This seems a little suspicious to me. Is this guy back to his old tricks?

Micke's request has been accepted, and I'm making some sketches to send him. I don't think I said it was an inappropriate request, did I? No.

Anyway, I'm moving and my DSL is being cut off for 10 days or so. I'm gonna try and e-mail them to Micke from an Internet Cafe or something and he could probably post them here.

Ok, thanks for the explanation Pixelsoldier. I would definitely like to see more of your sketches posted here. I hope you can understand why some people would have some lingering doubts.
