...called "The Digital Shoebox." It's all about how to deal with large amounts of digital photographs. Her website for the book - http://digishoebox.com - explains more and has some great resource links related to all things photography. Pretty cool photography trivia section too...
She's currently on a fellowship in the photography department at LACMA (LA County Museum of Art)

looks like a great little book 
i have a few photography forums i belong where ill tout this for her
also, she might want to check out these 2 sites
DIM - http://www.alanlight.com/dim/Dim.htm - i use this to copy all the files from my cards after a session (from weddings to portraits) once setup all i have to do is type my client name in and it does the rest 
and
Pixort - http://www.pixort.com - its windows only, but i use it to cull my photographs, very very quick at its job |
