Lemur, those last two are really nice. There's always this fine balance between detailing and large shapes that I always find hard to get.

Rinthe, last one is awesome, creepy.
Can't simplify the way that I want, seems to be either big strokes or refining with small strokes.
Somehow I want it the other way, refine with big strokes. hmm

Matthew> I find the ones where you get into the narrative too early and start adding figures are no where near as thrilling as your more abstract ones which have real dynamism and spacial interest.

EAD, I think I know why. In the abstract ones I can focus on what is most important in the piece and not what it should look like, harder to do when you add recognizable elements.
That and the timeframe could be an issue for me. More time and one can fix most things but yea that takes away from speedy aswell. hmm...
