thankyou fellas- i think cicinimo started a chain explosion of master studies 
I realize what i did wrong with the last one-i didn't provide myself a strong goal of learning, and instead tried to copy the painting without knowing what I wanted to get out of it. After reading jaime's post that became apparent-(thankyou again dammit!)
so this time I did a closer look with the goal being to learn the subtle changes of tone and hue in the flesh and to a lesser degree cloth-by setting goals we learn! I finally get it duuuuuuuuuuuh *headsmack
perhaps should've gone darker in some of the accents

Completely agree with Lemur. Setting goals is important to any learning.
Tried studying some Bouguereau myself. Challenging, yet rewarding me thinks.
