Nice last page and this one's shaping up well too - Darkos, I really like that simple portrait... great colors!

2 more value studies. Originally it was just the top one and I realized it looked a lot like one of Razer's pieces over at ConceptArt.org so I turned it into an homage;

thanks matthew- I think its cause I was looking at his work recently, my gf had to do a presentation in her illustration class on an influential illustrator, and guess who she chose! heh heh

some poop, i was having fun at first, but overworked it with those little round brushes-stopped focusing on the form and ran it into the ground

one negative about Gimp is the handling of fonts and trying to move the font on a separate layer.

omg he didn't finish the sketch!!

well, no, I think I spent like 3,5h on the top one and 2,5h on the bottom one, so they're not that speedy.. Just wanted to post something, miss this thread! And I sure as hell don't make anyone look bad lol, I am in awe over most artists in here!

Thanks for replying. I think it's still damn quick considering the result. I wish I could paint half as well as you or any of the people who post here since this place is totally insane with talent.

Sparth, initzs, paoo, zupzup, w@sker, AjTron... wow

I dunno udal, I think your painting is pretty rad! But I agree that Andree's speed is insane.
sparth, that first one is beautiful, the colors really sing to me.
now here's a real failure.

Octavian - far from it! That piece is beautiful. Shocked

Sorry, nothing to upload today. Just had to stop a fellow artist from being too self-deprecating. Wink

Rinthe: awesome dude! what are you studying? art? man, spring time on UCD campus is beautiful... chilin in the quad park... soakin up sun and skippin class. Very Happy

TJ Wright: haha, thanks man. I'm light hearted about my self deprecation. But I really appreciate it. Embarassed

Coulda done without the lens blur, but I kinda wanted it to look like a miniature set.
