This is a small idea I had, and thought I'd try and get some feedback before I try to finish it. Viewing size is meant to to be 20.5x20.5cm, so it's a tad smaller here than what it will be.

It has taken ages already, but I guess I'm at least proud that I didn't use any reference.

Certainly very busy, but I kinda like it that way. I'm not sure what sort of compositional plan you had to begin with but it seems fairly arbitrary. This is probably why you have pushed the brush around a lot and added so much texture. It works pretty well, overall the piece is very interesting but it lacks a bit of focus. The main portrait is great, I like the face and overall tones. The other two are good, but the left one even though it has a nice feel with the dramatic lighting it feels a bit lost when you look at the torso. Nice colours, and really interesting textures overall.

thats cool that your doing some illustration, i cant say that its too big in Oz. Which is a shame. Its mostly graphic design at most.
