This was painted from a reference photo I took last Thanksgiving at dinner. As I walked by the pot, it seemed clear to me there was a painting in there, mostly about the soft, ghostly reflections on the inside of the pot...

7 5/8" x 10", oil on panel. I may do some more work on it in the next few days...

It's mainly about those ghostly reflections in the side wall of the pan the onions are in.

when i first saw the title , i was a little dazed.
having had no sleep in the past 30+hrs

i just stared at "baby onions in a pot" in awe ....

then i clicked on it..

oh .. baby onions ....
in a pot ....

it was a surreal moment.

anyway you painting is awesome as always...
those onions look good enough to chew ...
