W@sker- yep, those were paint paint! nice study!
and fantastic works by everyone on these last couple pages
just got back from a trip to tokyo, neat place but i didnt get to paint there
heres an environment, i did it in sketchup but then realized the door wasn't lined up with the pathway so i chopped it into place resulting in some wonky perspective

1.5 h, no ref.
posting it before I begin to spot too many errors and begin to hate it like I always do
lemur: whoa Toyko? I envy you!
EAD, jOuey: thanks! Rock-solid works yourself!

Breaching thread etiquette here to say that's a beautiful piece, EAD. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

hideyoshi- don't be jealous, for the plane ride takes its toll!
EAD- I'm hopping on the bandwagon to say thats cool, I like the balance of traditional/digi feel.
yuk- Thanks! I dig that 70s chick, groovy!
leander- those are out of control man, awesome.
gettin back on the studies- without studying from life I just end up emulating other artists, life is the place to learn! I have a problem with discipline though, are there any solutions for that? Maybe I could wire my manhood up to an electrical device that won't shock if I paint maybe 2 aday.
Playin around, I still need to think better in stages, get some good structure that makes sense for once, then values, etc etc...
