First of all, a big thanks to all who participated! And of course to those who watched. This was an intense learning experience for me, this was my first time really organizing something like this. We came across a few obstacles with deadlines and noshows, but what is important is that some of you were productive. I'm glad I got to see so much work interpreted from theme based rounds. I hope this happens again sometime.
Just as a few suggestions to anyone organizing the next competition; Try to be really strict with deadlines. It seems that less work happens when the deadline is two weeks long, one week should be enough. Maintain constant communication with the entrants, just to make sure they're still alive etc. [we lost a few people to the Loch Ness monster] It's also a good idea to have more than one people helping, splitting the job between deadlines, posting round charts/info, posting the art, etc...
I hope everyone was able to enjoy this
