Hey everyone, I've been doing a good bit of graphic design lately, and my most recent job is one for the school of business at my university (Arizona State).

I'm having some trouble getting the right design so I'll show you what I've got so far.

This is where I started:

This is what I've been messing with:

People didn't like the blue background in the first one so I changed things up in those later designs (they also recommended putting the arrows on the side instead of right about the school... or making them go up the side of the shirt more.

I'd like to incorporate some bolder colors into the shirt if I can, possibly some pop colors. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or can point out some big weaknesses. I know this is graphic design but paintovers are still welcome if you want to share ideas Smile

Thanks.

shit I am all over this place today, somebody sue me.

I like the last one, however make it more personal because it's very stiff with the text. Maybe make wp carey like a tag instead? could possible be too much graffitti maybe?
Anyway the text for me would be better if it flowed over the more stiff picture in the background, just thinking out loud.

I could perhaps overtag something, not my strong side though, I am more of a sloppy painter.
keep up

I'm sorry, I don't know much about photoshop. I didn't see your offer at the end there the first time I read it. I don't actually know what an overtag is (googled it and couldn't figure it out). I'd be happy to see anything that would give me ideas though so if you still have time please go for it! Smile
I could be taking the rough edges or graffiti thing too far, I'll see what I can do about that.

They've been pretty silent with the more recent stuff I've sent so it's frustrating but I may have to start over again to come up with something they like. Hopefully these ideas will throw some fresh lift into it though

I don't use photoshop anymore, anyway.
Tag I meant like those writings graffitti guys do, what I know they call it tags when they do something quick on a wall or something. Lots of them in my work that I have to clean grrr.
This is what I was thinking, maybe there are fonts that could make the text more alive.
quicky this so if you want to do tags you maybe have to remake them 50 times before getting the one you want. Good stroke practise though. Very Happy

see ya
