Hey guys, what are some good tips for loosening up without mixing up values? Maybe I just need to grow some balls, does it depend on an ability to simplify?

RayBender - Awesome work!
Olgenki - Some of the coolest vampires I've ever seen painted. Your work inspires me to do more character studies.
Nag - That's hilarious!
Here's a quick value sketch to brush up on the basics;

Very interesting style, Caccaduu - very 1950s pulp.
My latest - photo reference used because I don't know how to paint boats...

Haha, I like those Leopard!
I think Painting with a mouse is kindof nice cause it makes me keep it simple, less frivolous strokes.

nag, hideyoshi, raybender, vahn, leopard snow, nice stuff fellas.
josh, you've got kind of the same edges and mass quality over the whole thing, maybe some more variation in your shapes/edges. |
