I think everyone should relax, take their time...Tuesday's not THAT close...

(krkrkrkr indeed...lol!) As if going head to head against you wasn't enough pressure.

There are some good things to being in the "losers" bracket for a few rounds...although eventually we may meet in the finals...(IF everyone else in my division forgets how to draw, or takes off for a vacation somewhere without the internet, that is...)

But I agree, the theme needs some thinking...

Since 1 of 5 gets thrown out this round, it would be mandatory that at least 4 peeps have an entry, no? I mean, if say, 2 didn't manage, what then?

Them's the way the Real World works. Many are called, few are chosen, fewer still can perservere...

Thankfully, this is just a "for grins and giggles" competition. No harm no foul for falling by the wayside.

It's a damn shame to lose each and every one of you, since a lot of you were truly setting the pace as far as quality goes. Andree, I'm surprised you couldn't come up with anything time related, even with suggestions, but hey, everybody chokes sometime... Crying or Very sad

But, the dice are rolling, a few of you may still default to the next round to try once more...While some of us who did submit may be eliminated.

You might want to try and make the effort to vote since you might be in the next round anyway... Shocked

I suspect the voting may be different, Hideyoshi brings up a good point about no shows.

another idea would be to mix all the charts either you`re loser or winner... like doing another random of all the entries and keep going

but i really dunno about the number of entries so it`s a bit hard to say.. just sounds weird that people are gonna get kicked out after doing 3 rounds and some will replace them...

First off, I'd like to say that I've really enjoyed seeing the progress with these works and themes. Unfortunately, not everyone was as into it as I had hoped. It seems like it may have been my fault, I should have organized this differently. I think the situation with the deadlines may have discouraged some of the artists with time restraints and such.

Instead of continuing with the chart that I have already provided, I have decided to simplify the �battles� into smaller groups with everyone that sent me something for Round 3.

If you did not send me an entry for round 3, you will not be in the next round. It isn�t a personal thing; it�s to simplify the contest based on who can get work in on time. (There are 12 people left)

I would have hoped to reach more rounds to see more work, but participation seems to be tough with everyone�s work and school.

Time Shift seemed to be a really fun theme, and the results were outstanding.

I have randomized numbers to create 1v1 groups. Unfortunately, this means I had to merge anyone from the winners bracket with the losers bracket. Again, this is to simplify the competition, which will last for two more rounds.

When you said "Magnificence," I thought you were just being complementary and encouraging.

These are simply amazing.
I see at least 3 that are going to be hard to pick one or the other.

The linework, the colors, the HUMOR! I had to laugh at the creative explanation for #5 and the kid with the stick in #7.

You've all done wonderful interpretations of the theme, with all of them showing REALLY good imagination and execution. These are SO enjoyable to look at!

i made up a story about a certain scientist that worked with electromagnets(amongst other things) and inspired by the theory of relativity, decreasing the gravity field and thus making time go faster
