red > I think it's not a place for polemic, just a place for speed paints
No offence, I think, just an expression.

@red
I call the "situation" stupid, in where people have a different feel of the perfect size to present their pictures.
And some people take the extremes, as jordygo the last but one page(mentioned that before; now its ok) or atrjon the last page. Sometimes it seems to me like the people don't think about how the stuff is recepted by other people.
I mean ... spooge himself posted his pictures sometimes oversized in comparison to viewing the whole picture framed in a forum on screen ... well, to view a picture in 1200px high(he often did that) it needs a larger resolution only a few run on their system.
i call this a stupid situation, cause i have to zoom in and out, like an idiot, or miss a good view on a piece. Well, most times i decide to miss the good view, but it feels wrong in a way.
It's a bit like you're walking through a museum, and there is miniature-Art next to a Wallpaper ... and you have run forth and back. So this would happen, if there is no Director. Would't you call it stupid?
Some people may just passing by and ignoring this fact and just don't compliment on those pictures, i prefer to point it.
And don't come up with those older misunderstandings about sparth(guess you mean that?) Totally screwed up by some people, concentrated on some wrong words but on the main point. Same here ... its all about how large is a picture postet. Put in some arguments about that instead.
Nontheless .. here is no cup with coffee:

Well, then.
I don't know you ... you seem to remain very passive.
And half of your Posts are around identifying a 'maybe' insult ... it seems we handle things in totally different ways.
As you can see, im a member of this community quite long and did a lot of posts and comments; so it's a bit strange to me you're really guessing i could poison this place; if im this sort of person, i would have already done that.
Maybe from time to time am a bit straight and direct, but never with the intention to insult anyone; it's always with best regards. Even the Overpaint about a Mullins-Picture that i did once.
I think it's better to make a false(by accident) statement now or then, than to keep quiet and just "think" the things, and noone can react and clear things up.
Im here for the dialog. (pictures or words doesn't matter).
PS: really nice landscape! _________________ Lars Gtze

Duracel>
About the size of images, 1200px wide isn't that big these days. Many peeps have gone full HD ages ago, and even the Cintiq has a native 1600x1200 rez. Maybe time to throw away that CRT? ![Razz](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |
