Hey everyone... My names Kyle, just saw this great forum and thought I should join... Am I going to dazzle you with tons of artwork? Yea right... Then why am I here you ask... Simply to learn. I do some digital artwork, but nothing like this awesome style of painting you people do. It is sooo frustrating to see something I can't do so it's about time I learned how... Hope to make some great friends here. Thanks for th time everyone. |

Contact us for those - would make things easier, mwah ...
oh - and if you don't have any questions yet, go to:

KahKah: well - there's no receipe to make photoreal imagery. You just have to start painting - getting good takes quite a while.
But the best is to just start up your favourite paint program and go for it.
I'd look at the 'speedpainting' thread and see what people are doing there. And then try for yourself.
You're also welcome to visit my site at:
http://www.vigilante.net/~loki and check out the 'digital illustration' section. I've written a bit about how to get started ...
Have fun and post something soon! |

Craig Mullins..... A true guru, the guy has got some insane skills. I print his art off and have it posted all over my bedroom wall. Anyway.. Well more specific question... Lets see... Well I guess I should ask where do I start if I want to make a realistic image such as a mullins piece? What do I do, how do I do it.... I'm lost when it comes to this stuff... Is there anyway I could ease my way into the painting techniques? |
