hello fellas! Boooo00!!
i got all that advice and thank you for it! you made me feel welcome like if i were family..heeh But as you can tell by my silly Questions....i have no Clue to what a Porfolio is? and if you guys had an example or better yet explain it to me i would love the help!

!!!!!ok as for my carrer i think i got what i want to be! I love everything that has to do with art! but i think i would enjoy the fields of designing original ideas! like for companies or media i think it's advertising but i dont really know what i have to do to prepare myself for that carrer advertising! ahh damn sorry im confuse im 20 years old and no future!! =( pathetic.......and is it to late for me? i havent even graduated from high school..yet i have fallen behind..and Canada is a cold place for art ....well thats all HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A portfolio is a bunch of examples of your work. A website would be a very good example of a portfolio, sice it involves everything from HTML programming to web grafix to Art.

Most companies would like to see your work rather than your college degree.(as far as the art field, anyway). Of course, you can't leave education out; knowledge is power.

Well, what kind of design stuff are you interested in?

I have a course in my highschool, (a new one is being built right now{a new school}) and I have "made" (designed in a cad prog), the dimensions for the desk to fit in the area they have for them, now I have to design the desks. They may use my design in the new school also. So.... is that what your thinking of ? or do you like mean box art and such...
