It's finally done. Not entirely happy with it, but that painting was clogging my creative pipeline so it had to go - either way. Original is 3K. More details on my blog. Let me know what you think ... Thank you!

I like it very much. The light is kinda cool, the contrast between the dark, artificially lit bay and the natural exterior, and the perspective shows how high in the sky this is. Not to sure about the ship design, but I guess that's a bit personal taste. _________________ CA SB|Flickr |

I actually like the design of the ship, added with the way "liftoff" happens with it, it really looks thought through.
Great execution |

Cool, this is nice. About composition or proportion. I would expand the canvas a bit from top and right, that the viewer can see where that ship is heading. Now if that aircraft takes off? It looks like it will get smashed to the edges of canvas, or when using imagination, there would be coming an enemy's aircraft, when it's immediately confronted by a threat. Anyway, this is nicely done and you have done very good work with textures and design. _________________ www.pirkkaharvala.com

Ah, great stuff!
Sweet design on the jet plane and the lighting is great!
I agree, the only thing that could be improved is composition and framing. A stronger focal point could be established maybe...
When I am not happy with one of my own works it's because of a poorly planned composition most of the time. That is, once your drawing is solid! |
