Tis my final year of High School (thank God!), hence Grad (somewhat what is known as a prom is US) is coming up (16th of Nov. to be precise) (Too many brackets, yet?). Anywho, I don't want to go in a standard tux that every bloke will be wearing, tho I'm not exactly a fashion designer. So, I come to you for ideas. I want something formal, but not same old 'penguin' combo. Gimme ideas or even sketches to aid me. @:-)

"black shoes, white hat, cadillac, yea"
good song huh.

dress like the dude Pike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie!), when they were at the school prom.

he wore like black dress pants, an oldstyle english white shirt, and a leather jacket over it. it looked good actually, didnt look punky or anything :l

just a suggestion.

How about:

Big leather trenchcoat
Cowbow boots with chrome tips
Black hat with snakeskin hatband
white shirt
dark jeans
and a lot of tumbleweed to throw around in the background

"This is no Jim Beam..!"

crash the party, cause fear and loathing, raise a fight, then leave without anyone noticing your departure?

Or you could go in, spacing out of your fucking skull on all kinds of disastrous chemicals, puking in the punch, replaying parts of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ("TAKE OFF THOSE GODDAMN GOLF SHOES BEFORE THEY KILL US ALL!" or something...) and asking all your ex-teachers for a grotesquely obscene dance.

That way, people'll remember you.

"Why *hick* g-g-go home and *hick* f-f-fuck the prom queen *hick* if you c-c-can s-stay and fuck up the *hick* e-e-e-entire fucking party!"

got wasted, went to the prom, licked some unwilling girls, danced some obscure dance with the principal, went out, kidnapped a guy from the prom.
stole a car with some friends and later we crashed it in the school (where the prom was held)...all drunk and happy...

Saw this, had to post. Let me see if I can actually post the pic of my grad outfit. Not your usual outfit....

You know how it is. Shameless self-promotion and all. Been a long time since I posted on these forums!

Love'n'hugs from Jess

Piece of crap! I'll just post the link.

I'm getting the idea that I should never have asked now, although there are some fairly kewl ideas out there. I still don't have a sodding idea what I'll be wearing (except for a port red waist thang. An order from the chick I'm going with).

This has become a fabooly thread. Continue!

Damn, If I had a prom I would get all my friends together. We would all dress up in baggies with the chain on the right leg, walk into the prom with Busta Rhymes playing on a boom box and fuckin deck everyone there, beat up the band, set the place alight hop into a rented lowrider and do doughnuts all over the football field.
Sorted.

I didn't go to my Graduation. I told my parents I'd go if they'd buy Me a suit that looked Just like the one Lucky "the Lucky Charms Leprechaun" wore and they never did.
