Interesting. Kind of implies that Robert Neville is the monster. I'm not sure I like it more, but it's definitely a completely different tone than the theatrical ending.

I thought that scene where he catches the infected chick was weird the way the alpha vampire acted, like he was pissed/frustrated by it. Then you never really see that "emotion" out of it again. This kind of gives that scene more of a point.

From 1:00:00 on, the movie was as tasteful as a piece of rotten fish anyway, so why bother about the ending? I'll just cut the DVD in half and watch the first hour over and over again

Yeah, I loved those scenes in which he just traveled trough the amtopheric city,....this movie could have been a quiet one. A man left alone in the ruins of civilisation....much potential for psychological depth....hmm

Let's take zombies instead. Why? As always,...because they gotta sell this thing

and what was with the rubber people? its like they just threw the facial anatomy right out the window. ruined the whole film.
