I was looking at the Wacom Graphire 6x8 bluetooth (http://www.wacom.com/graphire/6x8_bt.cfm) as a replacement for my current (wired) Graphire 4x5.
Currently have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and to put it mildly, it's addicting. A wireless tablet would be ten kinds of awesome, but a wireless,
*laggy* tablet would not.
I couldn't think of any better place to ask this, so what are your opinions on the bluetooth Wacom tablet? Do they work just as well as the wired ones? |

my roomate had one. same exact one that you're looking at; and she didn't have any problems at all. I painted with it once or twice as well- nothing.
I still don't trust it though. Having to charge it, etc. |

Lol. True, you never know when it might get up while you're sleeping and bite you
I have a MX5000 keyboard / mouse combo. The mouse has gotten very touchy about charging and it is rather frustrating. You have to position it in the charger just right or it won't charge at all. I've done all sorts of things to it, up to and even scouring the charging contacts with brasso.
On the whole though, the wireless is worth it in my opinion. If the tablet isn't laggy, I think I'll give it a try, unless anyone else here has firm opinions on it one way or another. |
