Hello! Here's a quick update of the illustration I'm currently working on. Please bear in mind that it's still pretty temp. Also it's not the full image, but just a crop - please forgive me. I want to keep a little bit of a surprise once I post the finished image. Crits are more than welcome tho! I5t still needs a TON of work. If you want to see how this started out, check my blog. Thank you very much and see you next time

Nice work!
One small crit would be that the characters look a bit too bright at the moment. Maybe the deck should be brighter (more bouncelight), otherwise those highlights on the characters make them stand out too much.
Other than that, looks very good! The cockpit of the craft is my favourite part.
Keep it up man! |

Loki - awesome work! I await the finish. Mikko might have something there with the lighting but otherwise it's very nice work. _________________ - Tom Carter

Thanks guys! Yes Tom, Mikko is right - I planned to actually paint over the characters quite a bit to get the inside / outside feeling going. But one thing I didn't think of is making the hangar brighter - good point. They'd have some massive lwork ights in there anyway.
I hope I get to continue tonight _________________ http://baustaedter.com/ |

I love this stuff.
This sleek, futuristic design makes me want to play a game that looks like this. Or watch a movie with this stuff in it.
Yeah, I'm a huge SF nerd. |

that is one sexy design. loving it!
what kind of resolution are you working with? the details are so sharp and crisp, which is what I find hard to do. |

saw this over at your blog a few days ago. What I love about this is the paint job you've done on the plane. it's VERY convincing. I've been looking at alot of pictures of jets lately, and that's the first thing that popped out at me. The design, exhaust, composition, everything is just great. I'm really sold on this one. nice work! |

Peter, great to see you back!
What I like particularly is the craft design, the shape reminds me of the wing suits people use for gliding in air |
