howdy all, this is such an amazing collection of art. i am hoping that people can offer up lots of great crits to help me improve.i have been seriously painting since last summer, and although my drawing skills are pretty sound, the transition to painting has been a struggle.
did this this afternoon, about 2 hours.

freebooter, octavian, llama, nuro, syarul, and everyone- you guys are kicking ass.
20 min study of my room inspired by the thread in the digital art discussion section, about shadows and color. haven't picked up the tablet in weeks. anyhow, the sole purpose of this painting was not perspective, technique, or anything of the sort. it was simply laying down color and value correctly on the first try, and understanding the reflection of color and light in shadows. i had fun. off to figure drawing for me!
