That's a great design. I'd drive that.

I might even hit it... I mean drive yes, drive

But really, the design is neat and not 'overdone'. The back looks so good that I could hit i... drive it.

This one was really hard...the balance between ugly and beautiful which makes car design interesting....Not to mention bloody perspective and sh*t. Phew.

...and not to mention eclipses! i'd paint cars if i wasn't so terrible at it...can't even use the path tool to save me life...

that is very cool, Sukhoi, the front resembles a SLR mclaren . Is the negative cambers on the front wheels intended? really love the way you do the subtle reflections Smile the process pic rocks too!

Tincap> that sketch is really hard to read. The front wheel of the vehicle looks bigger then the back, and perhaps you meant it to be so; but it looks kind of wrong. Some other things I could point out, but I'll just suggest you buy scott robertson's Gnomon dvds on perspective. They were such a huge help for me; opened up alot of doors for me.

Crappy cellphone pictures; but a few pages from my recent project.

Ya, the front wheels are larger, as they are on moto-cross bikes...

Please, do point out the other areas, as I'm all up for critique. I can't hold a candle against you guys (yet), so I'm here to learn. Smile

gousman, love your stuff, something to aspire to

flushgarden, i dont. I do initial sketch on marker paper, and overlay it on the back, you can see most perspective problems then. Don't get cintiq, waste of money imho. Same thing as intous 3, only makes your hands sweat.

annis, u'r getting better. Now since you are starting next term, put those pencils, and brushes away and go get a nice sharp exacto knife, all this foamcore in student store is getting lonely.

i don't ever have to draw this car again thank god, you can see the lack of excitement and care in these images, symptoms of endoftirmitis

resulting model, paint still stinks

i agree max, thats awesome.
You hand built the model, or is that 3d? if that's 3d, that's insane skillz. And if that's an actual clay model; then that's even more skillz right there. kudos!

the only time i don't use the draw-through method, i TOTALLY t-boned the hell out of this sketch by having my face way too close to the page. cast shadow's all off.
