I'm actually not sure youre going to find any special site dedicated to this particular item you need, but if you still decide to take a look at some stock libraries, try

http://www.sxc.hu (free stock fotos for registered users);

or

http://drteamstime.com (affordable prices)

The retouch you have to perform yourself, I'm afraid.
Hope this helps.

thanks for the links.

maybe i did not express myself clearly - actually its all about doing the retouching myself. atm i'm working on a cell phone and i'm looking for examples of what to do to improve the look by retouching, like how to treat the hightlights, contrast etc. i need some examples of a really good retouching job.
it does not necessarily have to be a cell phone, but retouched still imges in general. so if you know maybe a good portfolio or tutorial or anything, let me know.

thanks again

here you go.

problems:

- highlight in display area is ok, other highlights crap
- still not sure how much contrast i want on the numbers & symbols, upper ones too dim, numbers too bright
- buttons need some glossiness, have to be more rounded
- display should be lit (active), not sure what may be seen on display
- background has to be different, matching phone
- image has to be less yellow (<- i know how to solve that), more silver and black
- siemens logo has to be cleaned

Maybe you could look at Scott Robertson's bike renderings for some inspiration?

If it's a commercial gig, I'd say a product render like this could really use a 3d model Smile

this is not a commercial thing. a friend of mine is a photographer, im just trying to figure out how to do a serious retouching job. however youre definately right about the 3d model.

btw. i read your interview in the artscene int.

Hey Retro,

The only time your light reflections will be 100% opacity is if it is a chrome
surface. Any other material will contain some sort of interference as seen on
the left sphere.

But that is if you want reality, i'm not sure what sort of artistic license is taken
in product touch-ups for Advertisements, so it may look better
the way you have it for what you are doing.

don't know if that helps...

bob: lol, i didnt think of that. man im stupid Embarassed

ben: thanks, i did not know that. in the photography/painting world its still a question of what the exposure is, isnt it? i will try a less opaque highlight, though i guess it will not look as good - youre right about that artistic license thing.
