Skrubbles;
Practice without texture. Texture is a way of applying a surface to material quickly- try using non-textured brushes using reference, you will learn the light properties of different surfaces, and then when you DO use texture it will be 100x more effective.

Justin, I love your last painting.
First two are from life reference, the other two are my friends' City of Heroes characters. I have spent anywhere between 2-4 hours on each, so none of them are really speedies, but I don't know where else to post. This is where I come for inspiration. I would like to be quick and efficient, but I always seem to get caught with little details. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
