Umm I've posted a couple of speedpaints on the speedpaint thread, and it's actually been awhile since I've drawn a "full" picture (or summin like that ), so I did the usual "do a "quicky" right before bedtime and find yourself snoring on the tablet in the morning"
[EDIT] FallDamage thanks for the critique, I updated it abit, hopefuly for the better! (I like it more now, atleast.)
The old one:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/matu_k/FALL1.JPG
It lacks detail, a focuspoint, theres stuff going on everywhere and its full of wierd flaws, I also wish I wouldn't of added that silly excuse for a ''puddle" there, it just keep making me look at it, and look at it again, argh stupid puddle. Puddles are a big part of autumn though ! But I just can't keep my eyes open, so I shall retreat for now
C&C well appretiated! And judging by the usual standard here it will most likely be the critique part
I'm gonna hit the sack, adios.
And damn straight it's a pink forest! ![Laughing](images/smiles/icon_lol.gif)

True that, I actually thought I hid that layer.
Oh well I went back and deleted the puddle and destroyed The Fuzzy Layer |

The color combo you have going on there isn't doing it for me. I'd knock the saturation down on the back ground. Warm, earthy colors for your two main chars (and the falling leaves you wish to emphasize) and a cool, desaturated back ground with relatively warmer interspersed highlights. Also Configure your background light and darks to maximize your foreground subject exposure.
I'd probably rearrange the foreground composition as well. Are you trying to depict the fairyish thing rescuing the falling guy, or is she simply moving downward with him? It'd help to know your intent before talking about a comp adjustment. |

The faerie's falling down with him. I'll try messing around with the colors now that I'm awake. Thanks! |
