Fun sketches! Good to see the work of a fellow Industrial Designer. The guy filling the woman's glass with a hose made me smile. I think I would be tempted to squirt it at people.

The last one with (pencil and PS) looks really good.

Especially the cranes + the walls with graffiti!

I'm not totally happy with this one, but it had to go to the client by the appointed time,so I'll just have to live with it

the last one seems to have some perspective issues.. which is weird because the other ones are really great and the perspective issues are less apparent.

They are really cool. My favorite is most definitely the first one.

I made this thread to chronicle the progress of my techniques from traditional media to digital media. The first drawing in the thread is an exact extrapolation of the marker technique that I have been using for years. Subsequent ones are attempts at using a purely digital approach to representation. Since I am venturing more and more into areas where I feel utterly lost, I will probably be posting stuff that is either very stiff or very inconsistent. Such is the reality of an old dog learning new tricks.
Most of my work is architectural in nature, but I am dipping my toes into designing for some small volunteer video game projects. Here's a design of a character asset in a fantasy game. Pencil, Painter, and Photoshop

Splash page for a role playing game with anime style cartoon characters. I can't say that the anime/manga style is really my cup of tea, but that's what the client wanted.

Backdrop for a trade show exhibit. It's vaguely based on the winter palace in St. Petersburg. The final size is 12 feet wide by 8 feet tall.
