Dude - First of all I applaud you for the image - Just like all your speedpaints, this has awesome atmosphere and lighting. I don't know exactly where it's going, but it looks great and from what I've seen from you I have complete confidence you know what you're doing. Secondly, I thank you for posting in WIP, because no one posts here anymore and I wish they would, it's awesome to see people's processes. Please keep us posted |

Thanks Tinusch !
Glad to see U there !
Try to refine a bit the sky by adding some clouds.
I put there the main light area and try to set up a kind of transluance.
I'm quite happy with it ... for the moment ^^' (No Ctrl+Z with Acrylics ... )

Fantastic update... tho oil painting is all voodoo to me. I suppose I'd be a much better artist if it wasn't, heh... |

yo P-rik, nice work! forgive my ignorance but I can't see what is going on from under the dragons head. I understand that its his tail coming from the left but when it reaches the head and his paws I get lost.
Also I really dig the first step there, kinda looked like an elephant with the trunk instead of tail, but I also liked the contrast and colors..
Keep it up dude! _________________ homepage:blog |

I really like your style man...that scratchy, speed feel really works. To be honest I prefer your first update to the final image you posted on July 3rd. Especially the face...it had a loose, impressionist feel to it that I would've left as it was...
All the same, damn fine effort, just be wary of over working your forms...sometimes the suggestion of a form can be more powerful than clarifying it... _________________ Life is all dynamics... |
