Just completed my second cross-country trek since joining Sijun, this time to SoCal. Production finished on Delgo back at the end of August, and literally an hour after the wrap party I got a call from Blur, so yay.
It's only a six month freelance gig with the possibility of being kept on full-time in the future, but still, Blur has a really good rep, so I couldn't refuse.
So if any of you California guys wanna hang out sometime (Annis, this means you), I'm totally down for it. Things are going to be kind of hectic for the next couple weeks as I get adjusted to a new workflow, but after that I should start having some free time.
Oh, and Gort, sorry we didn't get to hang out again. I only had two weeks between the offer and my start date, and I really had to scramble to make it in time. If you're ever down this way ...

| Congrats on the new gig, and on finishing up Delgo! I know that was a long and difficult road. If I had known you were heading out of ATL so soon, I would have made the time to buy you a beer. Even though you don't know me. But... free beer, right? Animation is a small industry, I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point. |
